There’s something beautiful about what happens after dark.

As the sun sets and the noise of the outside world fades, the mind begins to wander. Creativity becomes refuge. Freedom becomes a uniform. And in the quiet of night, we bloom.

I’m honored to be exhibiting in Midnight Blooms, a group exhibition featuring nine young contemporary Black Chicago artists, exploring the night as a refuge for the uncommon thinker—where creativity blossoms after the culture of the day has faded.

Curated by Jeff Rivers, Midnight Blooms is the first exhibition in Third City Studio’s resident curator series.
